Lobbies Open for Business & New Banking Hours

We’re pleased to announce that we will be reopening our Community State Bank (CSB) lobbies on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020.
Your safety and our staff’s safety is a top priority at CSB, and for that reason, we have put together a list of updated health guidelines and safety precautions that will be put in place when visiting any of our CSB locations.These procedures were developed using the re-opening guidelines and recommendations provided by our state and local governments, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and local business leaders such as RAMAC (Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce).
If you're not comfortable visiting us inside, we understand. Our drive-thrus, online banking, mobile banking, ATMs, and Smart ATMs will all still be available for your banking needs.
Changes You'll See in the Lobbies
- Our customers will be encouraged to wear a mask – if you don’t have one, CSB will provide one during your visit. However, masks are not required.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be available.
- We will encourage social distancing.
- There will be protective sneeze/cough guards at the teller line.
- High traffic and high touch areas, like door handles, counter tops, workstations, and teller stations will be sanitized several times a day. This includes the drive-thru interface and ATMs.

Updated Banking Hours
Over the past decade, we've experienced a trend of our customers utilizing technology, versus face-to-face interaction at our branches. That trend climbed quickly during the state's "Safer at Home" order. For some customers it's changed their banking habits dramatically, and possibly forever. With that in mind, we have made the decision to update our banking hours of operation at all CSB branch locations when they re-open on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020. The changes in operating hours will help reduce the amount of time Universal Bankers will be managing face-to-face transactions, helping keep our customers, staff, and communities safer. The new schedule will also allow the opportunity for more staff training as we continue to develop and implement new technology.
Our ultimate goal is to provide you with a convenient banking experience, while also taking safety into account. We will re-evaluate these hours after a 6 month period to ensure your banking needs are being met.

I wanted to take some time to thank everybody. First and foremost, I want to thank our customers for your understanding. We understand the inconvenience placed on you with our lobbies being closed. It was a hard decision to make, but one that we believe was the right thing to do. The support you have shown us has, and is, a true blessing.
Secondly, I would like to thank all the employees at CSB. What they thought would be a normal week, turned out to be one of the most challenging. Wow, did they step-up and show tremendous teamwork and initiative to get things done, and to continue to help serve you, our customers and friends. They did all of this while dealing with many of the same personal challenges you are facing as well.
Finally, I would like to thank the communities that we serve. We knew that we lived in a great area, but the togetherness demonstrated by all of our communities has been refreshing and impressive.
We will soon look back and mark this off as another chapter in life. I am so thankful to have you all as part of the CSB family. Thank you for your support, it’s been humbling.
