Banks "Essential" and will Remain Open During Governor's Safer at Home Order

The “Safer at Home” order issued by Governor Tony Evers and Secretary-designee of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Andrea Palm, took effect at 8:00 am this morning (Wednesday, March 25th, 2020). As part of the order, many businesses have been asked to alter or suspend operations until April 26th, 2020.

We want to assure our customers that Community State Bank is open, and will continue to operate our drive-thru locations during regular business hours. ATMs and Simple ATMs will remain available 24/7. Banks, along with grocery stores, healthcare facilities, gas stations, child care facilities and other businesses deemed “essential” by the Safer at Home order will remain open.

Our CSB team will also be available to answer questions and help customers via online chat, online inquiry, and by phone. We’re here to help!

In addition, we continue to encourage you to please stay home if you are able, and to utilize our online banking tools, such as the CSB Simple Banking App and CSB Online Banking.


A Message from our President | Thank You All

Several weeks ago I thought anything that started with "Corona" was an adult beverage. Boy has that changed.

I wanted to take some time to thank everybody. First and foremost, I want to thank our customers for your understanding. We understand the inconvenience placed on you with our lobbies being closed. It was a hard decision to make, but one that we believe was the right thing to do. The support you have shown us has, and is, a true blessing.

Secondly, I would like to thank all the employees at CSB. What they thought would be a normal week, turned out to be one of the most challenging. Wow, did they step-up and show tremendous teamwork and initiative to get things done, and to continue to help serve you, our customers and friends. They did all of this while dealing with many of the same personal challenges you are facing as well.

Finally, I would like to thank the communities that we serve. We knew that we lived in a great area, but the togetherness demonstrated by all of our communities has been refreshing and impressive.

We will soon look back and mark this off as another chapter in life. I am so thankful to have you all as part of the CSB family. Thank you for your support, it’s been humbling.

Advanced Health Measures for Customer & Employee Safety
- Lobby Service Notification

At CSB we are taking special precautions to make sure the safety of our customers and employees are a priority. Our goal is to keep our staff and customers safe, while also providing you with simple and convenient banking.

As we continue to monitor the current health situation in the United States regarding COVID-19, we have made the decision to suspend lobby service effective at the end of the business day on Wednesday, March 18th, 2020, until Monday, April 13th, 2020, depending on public health conditions.
 
This includes access to Shepherds Community Café at our Union Grove location.

While access to the lobby is suspended, we will continue to offer drive-thru and ATM services at all of our locations. I would also encourage you to consider some of our online tools to help manage your accounts.
 
All CSB customers that would like to request access to their safe deposit box, are being asked to contact the bank during regular business hours at (262) 878-3763, to set up an appointment.

If you have an appointment with a CSB team member scheduled for this week, they will be contacting you to either reschedule or hold the meeting over the phone. Additional in-branch services will be by appointment only.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Follow public health advice regarding school closures, avoiding crowds and other social distancing measures.
