Community State Bank Introduces New President

September 20th, 2013

UNION GROVE, WI – We are pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Huedepohl as the new President of Community State Bank. Scott becomes the 9th President of the Bank since its initial charter in 1903. He began serving as President on September 3rd, 2013.

As President, Scott will provide strategic leadership and direction for Community State Bank. He will also be responsible for the continued development of community and customer relationships, and the general operations of the Bank.

With over 25 years of banking/financial experience, Scott has served in senior and executive management positions with financial institutions in Iowa, Baraboo and Watertown, Wisconsin.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to work with such a dedicated and talented staff,” commented Scott. “I’m looking forward to meeting our customers and becoming familiar with the communities our Bank has served so well for the last 110 years. We’re going to work hard, and we’re going to have some fun,” said Scott.

The addition of Scott is part of a planned succession and Bank continuity strategy as current CEO Steven C. Bell steps down as President prior to a formal retirement announcement in February, 2014. Bell will continue to serve as CEO of Community State Bank and participate as a Board Member.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors and all of the officers and staff at Community State Bank, I would like to welcome Scott on board,” said Bell. “He has exciting ideas and an unmatched enthusiasm for community banking that will serve our customers and our communities well. I look forward to seeing the Bank continue to grow with Scott leading the way,” concluded Bell.

Growing up in Iowa and working on his grandparent’s farm, Scott knows the value of hard work, and the level of dedication and commitment needed to be successful. Even more importantly, he has a solid understanding and passion for people and community. This passion has allowed him to successfully grow his institutions into market leaders throughout his career.

Most recently living in Watertown, WI, he and his wife Andrea are moving to the area in the coming weeks. They have two sons, Aaron and Jacob, who have recently attended the University of Iowa.

If you would like to speak with Scott, he can be reached at Community State Bank's Union Grove office location: (262) 878-3763 or send him an email
