Fraudulent Text Alert (Phishing & SMishing)

UNION GROVE, WI - Over the weekend (February 9th & 10th, 2013) several Community State Bank customers received fraudulent "SPAM" text messages claiming to be from Community State Bank.
The message reads: "S:COMMUNITYSTATEBANK M: CALL: (443) 563-1902."
The fraudulent messages and phone calls claim that the person's cards have been blocked, and they must enter their account and PIN number in order to reactivate them. These are "Phishing & SMiShing" messages and are NOT from Community State Bank. Please do not respond.
Alternate call back numbers have been reported along with a return email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that any reputable financial institution would never ask for account or credit card numbers via text, email or voice blast. Never share personal information via these routes.
This scam has been reported nation wide. It is important to be aware that there are many similar scams floating around out there. The best defense against these scams is education and knowledge. Learn more about current scams from the FBI and how to protect yourself.
