U.G.E.S. After School Art Club Lends Their Talents and Their Brushes to Community State Bank

UNION GROVE, WI – The windows at Community State Bank’s Motorbank location (1201 15th Ave., Union Grove, WI) had been looking a little barren, but thanks to some help from the Union Grove Elementary School Art Club, the Motorbank is ready for a festive winter.

Under the guidance of U.G.E.S. Art Teacher Christina Dresang, an enthusiastic group of creative artists ranging from 5th - 8th grade were able to transform the windows of the Motorbank into a “Winter Wonderland”.

The community project was completed over the course of two weeks, with the students working on the project after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays for about 90 minutes each day. The final touches were applied on December 19th, just in time for Christmas.

“It’s a project that just made a lot of sense”, said Community State Bank Marketing Director Jeff Nielsen. “The kids had a blast, and our office looks fantastic”. “I’d like to thank all of the talented artists from the After School Art Club and Mrs. Dresang for working with Community State Bank to make this project really come to life.”

Community State Bank plans to reach out to other artists and community organizations for additional designs in the future. “We’re looking at this space as an opportunity to collaborate with additional clubs, community groups, artists and other service organizations throughout 2014”, stated Nielsen.
